HKU iCube celebrated its second anniversary at the Annual Gala Luncheon 2025, themed “Talent Management in the Age of AI”. This premier gala convened distinguished speakers to explore how artificial intelligence reshapes talent acquisition and organizational structures in today's fast-evolving business landscape.
Dean of the HKU Business School, Professor Hongbin Cai, commenced the event with an inspiring opening speech on the school’s exciting new initiatives for cultivating future-ready business leaders in the AI era.
Ms. Clara Chan, CEO of Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited (HKIC), followed with a compelling keynote, emphasizing the importance of strategic investments in AI and technological innovation for strengthening Hong Kong's global competitiveness.
Ir. Tony Wong, JP, Commissioner for Digital Policy, outlined the Hong Kong government’s efforts in advancing ethical AI development and research.
Professor Jin Li, Director of HKU’s Centre for AI, Management and Organization (CAMO), revealed AI’s revolutionary role in modern organizations and CAMO’s vision to become a leading hub for interdisciplinary AI research and collaboration in the business sector.
