提及全球藝術品交易市場，香港被公認為世界三大國際藝術中心之一，與倫敦、紐約齊名。然而，這座彈丸小城之所以能屹立於世界藝術舞台，不僅在於其對當代藝術的積極追求，更離不開自上世紀50年代起，吸引全球目光的中國藝術珍品的流轉與收藏。
虛白齋、至樂樓、天民樓、九如堂、梅潔樓——這些名字在藝術收藏史上熠熠生輝，每當它們再次現身於拍賣現場，就喚起一幕幕傳奇往事。這些傳奇的誕生，交織著歷史的荒謬、際遇的偶然、家學的滋養、個人的精研，它們構成了一位親歷者筆下栩栩如生的篇章。
而今，我們有幸邀請到被香港收藏家、書畫家和藝術從業者都深為敬重的許禮平先生，為我們講述他記憶裡的舊日風雲。文字的沉澱讓往事並不如煙，而這座城市的傳奇，或許也將有人續寫下去。
許禮平先生簡介
許禮平 - 五十年代生於澳門，廣東揭陽人。長居香港。雅好搜藏書畫文獻，复嗜歷史掌故。七十年代先後服務於中華書局海外辦事處、香港中文大學中國文化研究所。八十年代創辦問學社、翰墨軒，九十年代創辦《名家翰墨》月刊、叢刊。著有《舊日風雲》、《掌故家高貞白》等。
