About the event
This forward-looking seminar discussed how sustainable real estate and green buildings are transforming corporate strategies, investment portfolios, and financial performance.
The discussion explored how sustainable building practices influence valuation, tenant demand, rental premiums, and access to financing, while also addressing resilience to climate risks and regulatory changes. It examined how the integration of energy efficiency, low-carbon materials, and climate adaptation measures can reduce operational risks and protect long-term asset value in a changing climate.
From a corporate perspective, the panel considered how sustainability in real estate supports brand reputation, stakeholder confidence, and long-term competitiveness, especially amid tightening disclosure and green taxonomy requirements. From the investor viewpoint, the discussion assessed market appetite for green real estate, comparing financial performance and risk profiles against traditional assets, and discussed how green buildings fit within ESG mandates, transition planning, and net-zero commitments.
